Enjoy this autumn scenes album of photos taken in parks and forest preserves. A walk in the park or local neighborhoods around Ill and WV brings joy to your heart.
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. What about you? It is that time of year when neighborhoods come alive with a final burst of color from mother nature herself.
Everywhere you go you can be sure to see brilliant oranges, yellows, reds and even purple.
Every album in this gallery works the same. Each thumbnail you see here opens into a gallery right on this page. Use the "Next" and "Previous" buttons near the top of each picture to see the next image in line.
You can always count on cooler temperatures in northern states of the US to bring you a variety of summer, spring, autumn and winter scenes to enjoy.
You'll find a lot to choose throughout my site of the many splendid seasons I shared in Northern Illinois. Each day seemed to bring new color to my life. I lived there for seven years. And during that time I took thousands of pictures.
The lamp posts that lined a quaint little brick sidewalk along Naperville's River Walk were some of my most enjoyable autumn prints images.
If you're in the market for pictures to brighten your home, please consider dropping my Imagekind Gallery where you'll find a growing selection of prints. One of my favorites is the lamp post from one or our walks.
This next autumn scene was taken while walking through Fermilab just outside Bavia, IL. You have to pass through guard post in order to enter her, but the walk is worth it.
I've taken other pictures of this same house from different angles. But this day the red leaves sparkled to really get my attention.
The area we lived in was about forty miles west of Chicago. This area is abundant with forest preserves for walking during every season.
The autumn scenes you are enjoying in this album were taken just a few miles from the little suburban community I lived in.
Autumn is one of my favorite times of year. I like all four seasons but I must admit, and spring are my two favorites.
Hope you have enjoyed your walk through these parks and neighborhoods. I would love to hear your stories too.
