Holding Butterfly In My Hands
I need to share this story. Today is April 16th 2017, Easter Sunday. After lunch with my family we were taking pictures outside and my sister felt what she thought was a bug in her hair and she shewed it off.
My eyes were immediately drawn to the beautiful slightly wounded butterfly 🦋 on the pavement.
I was so mesmorized by this beautiful magical creature. I picked the beauty up and she never left.
I took her home and put her on our flower bush hoping the nectar could give her the strength to fly again. I just felt so much joy and happiness as if nothing else existed.
I have been going through so much change lately and heartache and I felt as if this was some kind of sign from God to let me know that He is here and He will always be here and everything will be okay.
Butterflies are a living parable of the promise of resurrection. I needed to share this because I am so moved by this event and it has left a mark of joy on my heart and I hope it touches yours.
