Your Hills n Mountains Album Adventure Begins Here...

Cooper's Rock in West Virginia has always been our favorite family place to visit.

This picture was taken from the overlook there.  You see before you rolling hills that meet in the bottom at Cheat River.

More hills of WV, can be seen from the back porch of my daughter's former home.

I may not be able to visit the exact spot again, but there is no shortage of rolling hills in my home state.

Head in another direction toward Canaan Valley and you'll be met by some of those very hills as you drive.

This picture was taken at the end of fall so many of the beautiful leaves have fallen.

WV isn't the only state with rolling hills.  This picture was taken in Northern Illinois.

These lovely hills are located just about 40 miles west of Chicago.  I lived in the area for 7 years.

And of course part of the reason for rolling hills n mountains is my many visits to California.

This picture taken in Redlands, CA, is of the Rocky Mountains.  It always seemed to me no matter which way you faced you could look right in front of you to those mountains.

Back to the hills in Northern Illinois.  These hills can be seen in Blackwell Forest Preserve.

You have to walk a bit to get there, but it is worth it for the view.

This mountain view was taken on drive to Seneca Caverns in WV.

I have to say, my home state is mostly hills and mountains.  Perhaps that's why I like photographing them.

Often along the interstate all across the US you'll be given to pull off onto a Scenic Overlook.

Almost every state has them.  This mountain view just happens to be in West Virginia.

These rolling hills surround a beautiful lake.  We were camping on our way to Niagara Falls.

I'm not sure what state we were in when we stopped.  I do know it is only a couple hours drive from the falls.

Your walk in the park may just reveal some awesome hills n mountains scenes.  Almost any state in the united states has a hill or mountain to view and take pictures of.  Sometimes they are from great distances.

If you do and get the chance to take a picture, why not share it here?  I love hearing your stories and sharing your photos.  Don't worry if you feel you can't write a complete story, I'll add what I can.  I do appreciate it when you tell me how you feel and where you took your pictures.

Tell as much as you can and I'll take care of spelling and correct placement.  You can load up to 4 photos in your post.  If you have more, I can help you with that as well.  You can pose your question inside your post or drop me a line in my easy to use contact form...  I look forward to hearing from you.
