Early morning is one of those special times of day that is most rewarding in photography. Every corner reveals a new way for mother nature to show off her delightful treasures.
And then on a clear day when the sun begins to set you'll have a second chance to capture those awesome delightful shots.
To a photographer they are known as sweet spots. I just say they are delightfully fun to play with.

An evening walk in the park can be fun and fruitful. The day I took these three pictures was a pleasant surprise.
We were just about to take our dog for a walk. The dog insisted he get in the truck. There was definitely a plan in his brain. He didn't want to walk the neighborhood. He wanted a ride first.
And so it was that we ended up at the park the perfect time of evening sunset. Talk about a fantastic surprise.
The first picture in this row was taken just as the sun was setting. Light was nearly gone yet potent in her giving.
The next two were taken during an early morning walk in my neighborhood. What a way to greet the day.
That sweet spot light penetrates the day in delightfully different ways. From above it lights up the whole yard.
From behind it appears to shine through those maple leaves.
And finally on these leaves in the park it lights them up like lights at Christmas.
The differences may be subtle, but there is no mistaking the angles light can bring out the best sides of nature all around us.
