Orange and yellow wildflowers album picked right from the park and brought straight to you. These flowers are some of the most familiar of all that you find both in parks and back yards.
Every walk in the park or forest presents an opportunity to flex your imagination. One of my favorite forest preserve paths was along Herrick lake.
From early spring to fall you are sure to be surrounded with Mother Nature's brightest of all creations. And every wild flower comes with it's own special feature.

Every wildflower picture that I take seems to carry with it a story. We all know the high allergy effect of these first two flowers. Many people dread the season these flowers fill the air with their curse. But the good news is, you don't have to worry about allergies here.
And Dandelions may be the most surprising of all. They are very nutritional, did you know that. As I write this I can't help but think about one of my favorite songs. Ever hear of Polk Salad Annie?
Walks along the lake reveal those yellow flowers known as black eyed susan, obviously we can see why.
But then we have the common yellow daisy garden flower. They all began as wildflowers you know.
Yellow cone flowers get their name from the cone shape the flower's petals take on when in full bloom.
You may be wondering why I call this album yellow wildflowers. As you can see I've thrown in a couple orange flowers as well. Some of those orange flowers do have yellow in the petals.
But yellow flowers are much more abundant in the wild. It is rare that you will see them with darker pigments of orange. Even so, they are beautiful and deserve a place to shine.
