My new friend a Northern Pearly Eye butterfly

In my hand.

In my hand.

Have you ever had a butterfly that just wouldn't leave you alone? Today was my first time.

It landed on my leg and I enjoyed it for a little bit then I shooed it away and it would just fly around me then land again. This went on for about 30 minutes.

So finally I decided I would take it to the flower bed across the yard and put it on the flowers.

I went back to the garage and sat there for about 5 minutes and something flew past my head and then on my hand. And it would let me move it from hand to hand.

It was like a lost puppy and just kept coming back to me. The kids found it amazing and their explanation for it was because "It just loves you" lol!

It was pretty amazing though and I told them it must have thought I was a flower. Toddlers are pretty easily amazed.

And this also gave me a chance to get some incredible close up photos. Such a beautiful day.

And to have a butterfly follow me around for a few hours just made it more beautiful.
