A few ornamental grass album pictures join the group. Easy to download and fun to share. Ornamental grasses really bring a garden to life. Often they are used as accents for the perfect garden.
At other times you might see them standing alone. I added a couple that are wild grasses. They may not be your typical garden flower. But they are beautiful just the same.
As a matter of fact most of the ornamental grass album pictures here are of grasses that stand alone. At times people grow them as the focal point in their garden.
Then low growing flowers are planted at the base giving your eyes a nice smooth transition up or down following the beauty. Ornamental grasses are easy to care for too as they return year after year.
Some will spread along nicely like wheat type grasses. Others tend to grow in circle shaped fronds.
Pompass grass is lovely as its white feathery fronds gently flow in the wind.
No one can honestly say that ornamental grasses are boring. They flow in the wind and dance in the rain.
They are delightful to observe most any time of the day. And they provide shade for small creatures to play and hide as well.
Mid summer to early fall brings a variety of ornamental grasses to enjoy when you are out walking in nature. Northern Illinois has a huge selection throughout the seasons.
About the only time you won't find grasses is in winter. After all nature does need a little time to rest up for her next display.
