Saved a butterfly the next day a school of butterflies landed on me
Butterfly taken in Virginia by Dodie McCandless
Here is a memory that is so surreal. I'm 27 now and this happened when I was 9 or 10. I've been telling people this story my whole life and I'm pretty sure no one believes it.
I was playing in my backyard when I was a kid. I saw my brother swing a plastic bat and either hit a butterfly or possibly the wind from the swing knocked the butterfly to the ground.
I instantly picked up the white butterfly and cuffed it in my palms. It was twitching a little bit so I started lightly blowing into my cuffed hands.
I continued this for about a minute or so until I felt it moving. Then i threw it into the air, and to my joy it flew away. I then went back to playing.
The next day I was outside by myself in my backyard. At that moment at least 100 or so small gold butterflies landed on me for around three seconds. Then quickly they left all at the same time.
I always wondered if they were thanking me for saving one of there Homies. I guess I'll have to wait and ask God when I meet him.
I couldn't find anything online about my specifics but none the less it's pretty crazy to say the least.
