My wife and I decided to get married in front of a small group of friends and family in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. This involved us having the ceremony and reception outdoors on the beach during their rainy season.
We rushed the ceremony up an hour because the weather forecast looked gloomy. The rain held off in enough time for us to get both the ceremony and reception in without any storms.
This surprised everyone because the sky looked very ominous.
After our meal we had the maid of honor and best man toasts. This is where the "butterfly wedding crasher" decided to pay my wife a visit.
Her maid of honor was in the middle of her tearful speech when the butterfly landed on the bride’s shoulder. Our photographer Adam Alexander was able to grab this photo before it decided to take off.
I am not exactly sure what it means, but the timing of it made us all wonder. The storm did come that night but not until everyone made it back to their rooms.
