Swallowtail Butterfly Taken On Afternoon Walk

Swallowtail Butterfly Taken On Afternoon Walk

I've never written on a page like this or any other for that matter. But I wanted to share.

I have been going through a lot recently. I had a relationship of seven years end abruptly.

I caught her cheating and it destroyed my life and soul.

I felt so bad and had so many horrible thoughts I scared myself. But today, for whatever reason, a big black and yellow butterfly landed on my hand.

This happened while I was working. I'm a mechanic so I move a lot.

This may seem crazy but that very moment I knew it was telling me something. I'm pretty sure it said everything will be OK.

I immediately looked up and said thank you. That actually did a lot for me.

I'm sorry I could not get a picture. I wish I had!

So real it's scarey
by: Anonymous

There's also a lot going on in my life too. Today a giant beautiful yellow butterfly just spent 30 minutes just circling around me within 5 feet of me actually then landed on my knee and rested there for about 5 minutes letting me watch it.

It was so big and beautiful and bright yellow and black dots on the bottom edge of the back wings.

I was at the park watching my kid play with about 6 other children and everyone gathered around to see it and it was so cool for me and them.

I just moved to a new home and got married to the best and most patient and understanding man I've ever met. We've been together 12 years and were finally married just 2 weeks ago.

I'm just recovering I've been clean for 9 months from a 15 year drug addiction ( my husband had been clean 8 years and has put up with me all this time without relapsing and still encouraging me and supporting me throughout without ever judging me or condemning me for relapsing)

And all of a sudden my life is completely changing around me. I have absolutely no urge to do drugs any longer and I'm doing so good now it was just like the butterfly was telling me it's all going to be OK.

It's been a rough road for me and I never imagined that things would be so different like they are now. It's like I've been reborn and when I looked at this butterfly I felt this strong feeling of reassurance and happiness like never before!! It's just amazing how a tiny thing like this can make a person feel. :)

Butterfly Landings, Trust Your Feelings
by: Sally

Thank you John for sharing your beautiful story. I found a picture in my butterfly collection and posted it with your story.

I hope you don't mind.

Butterflies are very mysterious creatures. And they seem to come to us in our darkest hour of need sometimes.

For me, I believe it is best to go with the feelings that they bring. Any time I've ever had one land near me or on me, it was at times when I was open to receive.

So I see them as gifts from our Source and deserve appreciation. Thank you, again for sharing.
